AFRICAN DANCE INSTRUCTOR
FRONT DESK/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Yaya was born & raised in Brooklyn, Ny. Her passion has always been dance & health. With her career path leading towards nursing, while caring for people, she realized how much control we have over preventing or slowing down certain "dis-eases". During her own holistic journey, she felt her mind, body & spirit getting lighter every time she took dance classes. Specifically, African Dance classes. And so, she decided to spread that feeling to others by teaching her own classes at her local YMCA in Brooklyn. Yaya is also a personal trainer & group fitness instructor. Recently moved to Maryland, she hopes to continue to heal people's spirits through dance & fitness.
